What constitutes as the end? In an ever-expanding hyperbolic universe, entropy will take over after hundreds of billions of years. Back where it came from. ... And just like we want to know what happens when we die, science has asked how the universe will end for as long as man has been able to think about such concepts. One of the ways the universe can be illuminated is if two carbon–oxygen white dwarfs with a combined mass of more than the Chandrasekhar limit of about 1.4 solar masses happen Speculations are just that, speculations, however confident and authoritative they might sound.
Even so, there can still be occasional light in the universe.
What constitutes as the end? What we know for certain is that the universe will end. What is the Malayalam meaning the word ma nishada. The universe will be totally cold, dark, and unchanging. I am huge fan of the Big Bounce. The ultimate fate of the universe is a topic in physical cosmology, whose theoretical restrictions allow possible scenarios for the evolution and ultimate fate of the universe to be described and evaluated. No new stars or life forms will arise. "Where will a now nonexistent universe "go TO?""
I would say that the Big Freeze scenario is the most likely, as the Universe keeps expanding on forever, and ever, and ever, and ever, until nothing but sub-atomic particles remain. Many theoretical physicists believe the Universe will end, and it could happen at any point between 2.8 billion years and 22 billion years from now. The preponderance of evidence to date, based on measurements of the rate of expansion and the mass density, favors a universe that will continue to expand indefinitely, resulting in the "big freeze" scenario . At what point is it considered that the Universe ceases to exist? The usual story of the Universe has a beginning, middle, and an end. The universe follows the same rules as any thermodynamic system, and they all end up the same way: with heat evenly distributed throughout. After universe ends what will happen?
