'Big Al' is the name given to a real Allosaurus fragilis skeleton. The many injuries on Big Al's skeleton help flesh out how difficult it was for a top predator to survive in a dangerous world hundreds of millions of years ago. One of the best of the 'Walking With Dinosaurs… But Big Al wasn't big at all - he wasn't even fully grown.
