Recently I reported on how Polyface Farm uses techniques such as mob grazing and mobile farm infrastructure to lock up carbon, build soil and create a diverse set of yields. He also says that healthy pasture can lock up far more carbon than forests. Purchased by my mom and dad in 1961, the farm has gone from a worn out, gullied weedpatch that couldn’t even pay a salary to one that employs 10 people with more than a million dollars in sales. 1 Helpful vote.
