David McKenna and Nick Cassavetes adapted Bruce Porter's 1993 book Blow: How a Small Town Boy Made $100 Million with the Medellín Cocaine Cartel and Lost It All for the screenplay. The film is starring Mark Burnham, Nicki Micheaux, Shaye Ogbonna, Jon Oswald, Ricardo Adam Zarate, and Santana Dempsey. The script finds moments to be both funny and devastating in its presentation of how drugs and crime have torn people and families apart, and set them on a path of self destruction. Tarantino-esque gruesome yet darkly comedic crime thriller drama set in a poverty and crime ridden L.A. neighborhood.

Blow is a 2001 American biographical crime film, directed by Ted Demme, about American cocaine smuggler George Jung. It's a rich and original set of tales that shouldn't be overlooked. The release date of the movie is set to April 6, 2018 (in theaters and on VOD). And what has started as a happy accident is now taking the internet by a storm. The website's critical consensus reads, "Una ' s well-matched leads bring an uncomfortable story fearlessly to life, keeping the movie consistently gripping as it navigates the tricky journey from stage to screen."
